Take what is most important to you and divide it by God

Take what is most important to you and divide it by God.  What remains?  Is it whole or a fraction of God?  From what realm is it born?  Does it live in the heart or shiver in the mind?  What is of great importance to you?

God is not of importance.  God is of simplicity.  God is the universal love and you are the universal light.  This is not a God external, but an awakening of the great, immense light that lives within, that is activated by simple surrender, by words that flow from the river of the heart.  Use the mind to think on these things.  Use the heart to feel.

If I am to show myself it will not be in sorrow.

If I am to show myself it will not be in sorrow.  You saw the light of my heart; do not forsake your own.  If it is power you want, surrender.  Love is all I have to give.

The art of surrender is forever overlooked

The art of surrender is forever overlooked.  It takes a soul gifted with far-sightedness to understand the strength and purpose of surrender.  There is no loss in letting go, much will be new.  How you qualify such newness is up to you, but unless the space is made there is no room and it, once again, becomes cluttered, claustrophobic, and you become prone to bumping into your shame, denial and weaknesses.

Release those things!  If they are so dear, take a picture, visit a taxidermist, bronze them, but do not let them live in your present day as they so affect your world that you will never climb up and out of the chasm.  There is greatness on the other side of that mountain.  It is gold and white, it shimmers like light atop a wave; it is called God and it is your reward for exercising the strength, mindfulness, willfulness and commitment that it takes to release the past.

The greatest suffering comes from the small mind

The greatest suffering comes from the small mind.  The greatest peace comes from the nothing that simplicity affords.  Every idea is capable.  All condescension is incapable.

Release must initiate from the heart; surrender, always from the mind.  Let go.  It is not a rope that your fingers tear at; it is simply a dream that has run its course.  It is time that you stand and leave the theater and walk away into the sun, into the life-beloved.  And bring all of your dreams that, like some great story house, will become your world, your home, your house.

It takes no strength to stand against the many, when one is God self-realized.  It takes the strength of a God to face the world when one is unsure.  Look at your lives—all of them—and forget them.  They were very nice at one time.  But even time is an illusion.  And the only illusion worthwhile is the truth.  And the truth is love.  And what does that make you?

If I were to say to you, let go, what would that mean?

If I were to say to you, let go, what would that mean?  Let it all go; fall where it may.  Could you do that?

-Depends on what you’re talking about, Shams.

Does it really?  Do not you think that God knows where things are to fall perhaps a bit better than you do?  I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, but God created the earth, and you walk upon it.  Perhaps that is not fair, but you get the point.

What I’m saying here: the great depth, width, breadth of the inner mind, the heart mind knows what “we” do not.  “We,” being the small mind, the need to be someone, something, some definition of success or victim.

Everyone here, where I am with Rumi, beloved Jesus, the Masters, we all learned how to let go.  We all made a choice.  Attachment, as the great Buddha says, is the weight of the world.  Release is the abolition of resistance.  So where, my darlings, does your resistance lie?  Worry?  Fear?  Where?  We must recognize this resistance before we send it from whence it came, that way we have learned.

-Oh Shams, you are so obscure.  What are you saying?

I’m saying that there is no penalty in doing what you love and staying there.  We are not created as a swing unless we choose somebody’s ass to sit upon us, as many of us do.

Observe your limitations, beloveds.  When life seems too small, create it bigger.  When all would close in on you, rise up, become 10 feet tall.  There is nothing in this world that can scare you unless you choose to be scared.  There is too much goodness to do.

When we speak of healing, we heal nothing

When we speak of healing, we heal nothing.  What we do is extract the thought, the permission, the seed of a lie, an impurity, an aberration.  To heal is to fill oneself with the purifying light of God, which is love.  It is also an act of awakening, a bringing forth of the soul, which is the seed of God within each body on earth.

Extraction of the electrical current that feeds a seed-cause is successful only with the food of love.  Love will still the condition.  Love will calm, love will remove the electrical charge of fear.  The small mind understand love not.  The heart mind is of love.  Healing, therefore, comes from a place few have explored, a place few are familiar with.

Delving into the heart mind evokes, brings forth and reminds us of our responsibilities.  The heart mind does not rest nor sleep in the past.  It is concerned with what every present moment brings it.  It says: I cannot wait to discover a way to love my way through this one!  In such a case, the small ego mind would raise ramparts of resistance and castles of denial, surrounded by moats of blame.  It is a rascal.

We are so concerned with how to do that often we forget that we do not understand everything here that is on Earth.  That is why God does not for us but with us.  We do our part as best as we know how and to the best of our abilities.  God does hers when we hand it over feeling joyful about our letting go.  We are about letting more God into our lives as our lives are becoming more of God.

Are you free to follow your heart’s mind?

Are you free to follow your heart’s mind?  Are you enamored of, and devoted enough to follow God’s?  What is it you truly wish to accomplish?  These questions may sound rhetorical but they are not.  Every soul does indeed have a purpose, a game plan, if you will.  Every soul must pass through the dark of night and make it to the rising dawn.
What will you resurrect?  Why not begin with love.  What is love?  Good question.  Why is it so precious yet so plentiful, so ignored yet so necessary?  We must all come to this sea at one time or another.  Do we swim in it?  Do we walk atop it?  Do we create something to float over it?  Do we walk around it?  Do we seek a safer place?
Your inner nature that comes forward into your world is bringing you deeper and further away from that past we might call land.  So here you are, boat-less, atop a sea you yearn to experience, share and understand.  Oh, Shams I’m so afraid of sinking!

Do not fear sinking.  Remember that surrender invites the heart mind to think, to express, to create and to seek itself. That is why it is a good idea to attempt to define love in terms that strike the inner cord, the familiar music within each of you.

When we throw ourselves into the future

When we throw ourselves into the future, when we become the uncertain hunter of that which God has already provided us, it is then we experience what many call the cosmic joke.  The truth is we possess all of the ingredients to manifest a perfect creation, thank you very much!  But we worry.

If you could see what worry does, you would not feed it so often.  Worry closes off the God force, life force, the flow of life.  Worry limits our perspective, worry blurs our vision.  Worry chokes our creativity.  So why do we do that?  Believe it or not because it brings us comfort.  Expecting a worst-case scenario covers all of the bases, or so we think.  But think about it: putting energy towards creating a worst-case scenario creates a worst-case scenario.

We are such powerful gods and goddesses that even burdened with a body we can overcome all appearances contrary to love.  That is called ascending the realm of illusion.  Every ascended being, ascended master, if you will, has done just that.  They do not so much believe as they wholeheartedly, unequivocally know.  This knowingness is not only a radiant magnet that attracts goodness, love and prosperity, but it is also a magic that is called the grace of God.

Do not want for any good thing.  Go to your great within and accept your demonstration and manifestation of that which you seek.  And then forget about it.  Why enslave yourself behind the bars of worry when freedom reigns all around and about you?  Eventually we will all overcome the darkness that seems to pervade the world.  We as a race are entering into a new grace, a much higher frequency of light, of love, if you will.  It is worthless to worship the trappings of the world, but if you must, you must.  If nothing else, it is a good lesson.  But eventually you will enter the realms of your great within and despite your attention to the contrary, you will always be welcomed and embraced as a long-lost best friend.
Listen to your inner voice; it will save you a lot of headaches.  Go out on a limb if you must, but know in your heart of hearts that God is the tree on which that limb grows.  Change is unavoidable.  It is the true magic of life, but do not despair.  Letting go of attachments only puts us more securely in the unconditional flow of life, of God.

Be loved,

Where am I going? To the sea…

Where am I going?  To the sea… where the endless is forever, where to lose one’s self is to be found.  Where, beloved, am I headed?  Into the adventure of God; to the pregnant mystery of surrender; to the birth of love, unimaginable, indescribable, weightless as the purest breath of dawn.

How will I get there?  Diligent ritual, free flowing tears, and a craft of knowingness, buoyant beyond comprehension, captained and crewed by your God/Goddesshood Christ, your immaculate beloved and merciful Angels.

Where is my love?  Where is not my love?  Listen.  She calls in song, of life, of patience, of blessed and ordained embraces soon to come.  Steer your course straight and bless the wind, the wave and rain as co-conspirators of inner-strength, inner-awareness, flames that temper the soul to an invincibility that attains great heights.  And all is as should it be in your divine awakening.  Be so blessed!
